OIMU Bok NFC Keyring

In collaboration with OIMU, a lifestyle brand that reinterprets traditional beauty in a contemporary way, this project delivered a special digital experience infused with Korean sensibility. OIMU is a brand that conveys warmth through distinctive designs connecting the past and the present. In this project, it combined the traditional symbol of bok, or blessing, with modern technology to create a new kind of branded good. The product was designed around the Chinese character 福, representing good fortune, and enhanced with NFC technology to deliver fortune content when tapped. Users can enter simple information, check a new fortune each day, and feel a sense of connection with the product through repeated interaction. Rather than remaining a collectible alone, the bok-themed item becomes a charming medium that brings small moments of luck and delight into daily life. This project is a meaningful example of how Korean tradition and modern technology can work together to carry a brand's message naturally into the customer's everyday routine, transforming a traditional symbol into a renewed digital experience.
