Bbang Bbang-i Tap Tap NFC Keyring

Centered on Bbang Bbang-i, the awkwardly lovable character adored by fans, this project created an acrylic layered keyring that lets users feel even closer to the character. According to the character's backstory, Bbang Bbang-i used to solve everyone's worries as a child. Building on that narrative, this project used NFC technology embedded in the keyring so that when users entered a concern, Bbang Bbang-i could respond directly with her own voice. The keyring itself was designed with layered acrylic to reflect the character's personality, helping fans feel close to Bbang Bbang-i even in everyday life. When users tap the NFC, they are taken to a UI inspired by the original episode, where they can enter their concern and press a solve-it button to receive an answer spoken in Bbang Bbang-i's voice. The keyring became a unique communication channel that strengthened the emotional connection between fans and the character. By building on the original episode, it gave users an experience that made Bbang Bbang-i feel even more familiar and personal. This project reimagined merchandise as more than a collectible by combining the charm of the character with NFC technology to deepen the bond between fans and Bbang Bbang-i.
