Student Startup Team 300+ Puzzle NFC Acrylic Keyring

Student Startup Team 300+ is a program that identifies student startup teams from across Korea and provides entrepreneurship education and mentoring tailored to their stage of development. Commissioned by StartupFlex, VVFY Studio produced puzzle-shaped NFC acrylic keyrings for use within the program. Each keyring is shaped like a puzzle piece and can physically interlock with other keyrings. While every piece works as an individual keyring, the product also introduces a tangible interaction by allowing pieces from different teams to connect with one another. NFC is embedded into each keyring. Tapping it with a smartphone opens detailed information about the startup represented by that keyring, turning the physical item into a digital touchpoint for discovering what each team is building. The experience combines two actions within a single object: fitting puzzle pieces together and tapping NFC to access information. Users can connect the physical keyrings with one another, then move from the object to the story of an individual startup team through a tap. Each keyring serves as an entry point to one startup team's information, while multiple keyrings can come together as a larger puzzle. The result is an NFC merchandise format that represents individual teams as distinct pieces while allowing them to be physically connected.
